I put 'eulogiSe' though either should be acceptable
metacarpus is the plural
s is the english spelling
'Metacarpal' relates to the 'Metacarpus', the skeleton...

Actually I believe that spelling words such as eulogise with an S not a Z is a relatively new thing in this country. Looking back from my advanced 70 years I recall using the Z much more often in the days of yore, and I also possess a Shorter Oxford English Dictionary from 1973 in which it only appears as eulogiZe with no alternative spelling.
