Has anyone else had their quiz returned by the Post Offce saying there was no such address.

That was the Logo's one wasn't it? Have not had it back at all and am sure the closing date was end of August.

Well I had mine returned by the Post Office and on phoning them they said they were worried that there had no replies and had complained to the Post Office, so presume no quizzes were received!!!!.

oh no thats terrible, im sure lots of us worked really hard on that quiz, and theres me waitng for the answers to be returned coz i just know some of them are on the latest logo quiz im trying to do.
Can anyone recall if the request address was the same as the submit address, if so seems very odd

Spooky I was just thinking that. I made a few mistakes on the sheet and so sent off for another copy - no reponse so I sent for another still no response. I found a mobile phone number and sent a message - no reply I even tried the telephone number on the sheet and spoke to someone who said he would arrange for someone to call me back - again nothing

Accompanying my logo quiz sheet was a letter thanking me for purchasing it and within the letter is an email address for requesting the next one. I have just emailed the person and asked for confirmation of the current position re the logo answers and the problems re postal address queries. If I receive a response, I will post the information I receive on this site and the fundraising site.

we did have about 350 completed quizzes back. There were some problems with the post office who for some reason best known to themselves delivered post for PO box 119 to the holder of PO box 118. We first became aware of this at the end of May and contacted the post office who investigated and we were assured that the problem had been corrected. In fairness we had had some requests in the post and assumed that the problem had been sorted. at the end of June we had more reports of quiz sheets requests not being received and again we took this up with post office who again assured us that the problem had been resolved. By End of July it became apparant that the problem hadnt been completely resolved and we reported it again. By mid of august we were getting daily deliveries of completed quizzes. We Pay a lot of money for this service and the post office have severely let us down. It is hard enough raising money in the current climate and their total lack of organisation has cost us money this year. I can only apologise for the disappointment many of you must be feeling. To the people whose quizzes have been received and requested answers - the answers will be going out in the next few days. If you require a copy of the results please Email me at [email protected] and i will email a copy to you. Once again my apologies for the post office's incompetence. We will be complaining yet again to the post office.

It appears my sheet was received. All correct but not lucky enough to be a winner in the draw. Hopefully it will get sorted with the post office for future quizzes.

Thank you for the explanation dave I've just had my quiz returned by the post office. It doesn't explain the non response to my telephone call and text though Brilliant quiz - thoroughly enjoyed it. I think that the Post Office should make a generous donation to Deeping Lions to make up for the mess they have made
