Is anybody else torn between 2 answers for this question ? The question asks "how many days to the NEAREST complete day" which would make the answer 72 as opposed to "how many complete days" which would make the answer 71.

I think 72 is correct unless anybody knows differently !

The difficulty is that there is no indication of rounding up or down.  It does seem that unless the day is COMPLETE that it does not count.  I have a feeling that this is going to be a question that will cause controversy for those who entered this quiz.  Good luck to you.
We are going with 72.  The nearest complete day can only be obtained by rounding it up as it was 71 days 14 hours.
Surely , mathematically speaking , to the nearest complete day has to round either up or down depending on if more or less than 50%
In this case answer should be 72.
This one has caused us the same problem , the way Im reading it is that the 72nd day wasnt actually completed and am therefore going for 71 as the nearest completed.
Im not at all convinced though !!

I think they may have made a rod for their own back with this one because although I believe that the answer they are after is 72, I like alunrw's thinking and if 71 is marked wrong then I think you have a valid argument for the result to be reversed bearing in mind the way they worded the question.

If 72 is marked wrong then we haven't got a cat in hells chance.
