MM Links October 2011 Week 5

Hello,
This is Morgan Le Fay back to challenge you for my final week in the hot spot:
With the advent of budget flights and a greater choice of direct flights from Scotland, my OH and I have been frequent visitors to Italy, not taking into account my four stints of olive harvesting in Tuscany.
We have enjoyed visiting the great sights of Rome and Florence and during a visit to Naples (thanks to a prize from The Daily Telegraph), we took in the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Other towns we have descended on include Bologna, Parma, Bergamo, Mantua, Verona, Venice, Vicenza, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno, Lecce and the unforgettable Otranto. I could happily recommend a visit to any of these places.
Prior to visiting Puglia together, I had attended a language course in Lecce for two weeks and was so impressed by the area and its people that we decided to return together.
We have travelled throughout the countryside of Lombardy, Tuscany, Umbria, the Marche, Abruzzo, Basilicata and Puglia using the local trains and buses, a useful exercise while trying to learn the language.
Trips were made in the autumn to Lake Como and Lake Garda, visiting many of the lakeside towns and villages using the passenger ferries.
More recent visits include Sicily and Sardinia whose people are fiercely proud of their own identities and heritage.
We have been fortunate to have attended many wonderful, often free, concerts of classical music which just happened to coincide with our visits.

Then there is, of course, the food and wine. Genuine Italian cuisine is relatively simple but oh so good with the finest of ingredients. As in many other European countries, the food markets are a sight to behold with wonderful fruit and vegetables full of sunshine, of a variety and quality that could not be found in Britain.
So many happy memories, never to be forgotten…..

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I shall follow this rule on word length, in that each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each of the selected link words may go in front of, or behind my challenge word.
The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when gen2 will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
