hi, could you help me with two dingbats both answers relating to christmas in some way:-
[1] santa claus is written in the form of a circle with the word Depart in the middle of this circle
[2] the word 'the' is written three times under each other on the right-hand side of the dingbat and then George 1
George 11
George 111
George 1V
George V
George V1
are written on the left-hand side of the dingbat directly under each other
thanks wiggers, i think it maybe a mixture of the two answers given, namely:- the three kings, which is apparently a christmas poem by longfellow, has anyone any ideas on the first dingbat.
thanks brokenback, you won,t believe this but i had already put that as the answer. i had depart as a military term meaning 'by your leave' and then took your out to make by leave or believe, but i still couldn't figure out where the 'i' fitted in. silly me never saw the 1b in the corner. i must have been thinking it was the question number! thanks for your help, best, hops.
Don't worry, I did exactly the same to start with. I'm actually helping just helping a friend with this and keep getting a few to help with. We have got every answer except for Nos. 16 and 39....any ideas.
Hi hops.................no we havn't put a number in the answer (I know what you mean), just two words. If we solve no. 39 I'll post it on here, thank you for no. 16.
one last thing brokenbank if you could, it concerns question 29, i do not want you to tell me the answer i don't think that would be fair but to help me try and work it out for myself could you tell me how many words are in the answer and what initials they start with, best hops.
