I don't like it, Mark - I know X stands for Christ, but it just feels like sloppy shorthand to me. It saves no breath to say Christmas rather than Xmas.

Could be Xmas (ex mass) or Midnight Mass. We really need to see some others to see whether 'sounds like' answers (Ex for X) are accepted
