I love 'stool' as an answer for 1. but think that 'table' is more likely!
Not sure about 'leafs' for 3. - I thought 'plate' as anag. of petal
Unsure about American terminology for 2. Is it 'washroom' or 'bathroom'?
Unsure about 'scuttle' I thought 'drainer' for 4. - but unlikely!
What about 6.? I have 'walls' (walls have ears) but could be 'piano' musical term for quiet
I agree with 'bowl' for 5.
