On the original UK Monopoly board how much do you receive for passing Go?

The only answer I can find is £200. Does anyone know if the amount was different when the game first came out?

when i bought the game in the 70's it was £200 then

I've only ever known it to be £200 I think maybe the question is trying to differentiate between the standard monopoly game and the various variants that have developed (eg Manchester monopoly board)
