I think I do. If I could answer all the questions on either of the programmes I've mentioned then I would say they've dumbed down.

As a general view I would say no. Obviously some are better than others but 'The Chase', 'University Challenge', 'Only Connect' and some others are still of good quality.

Mastermind has without dumbed down. The first three questions of the GK round are like Who wants to be a millionaire without multiple choice.

Specialised subjects have become more populist.

Its got to point where I am thinking I could give it a go, I regularly get over ten on the GK round and I used to be lucky to get 3.

Quiz shows should ask for predictions because all questions have to relate to past so it the person with the best memory who wins. Id say yes as more people will watch if they can answer the questions so have good memories.

How long would you wait to determine a winner with predictions.

Im in no hurry weeks years ,no seriously they could be given situations where they would not know the result but would have to give their opinion of the best possible out come .Thus show their intelligence and perception of the event .
