It's allowed marg but there will only be a few people doing this quiz so we dont know the questions. I don't think Mass was saying you had to ask for clues, but what are the questions
33. when nails are projecting-in part through shoddy workmanship.
46. tapes are knotted by sailors where the shackle is fastened.
60. prior to further education Edith had right movement but made no progress.
64. alfred was detailed to go into Paraguay to get a saddle-horse-for his wife
this rainbow quiz was recommended to me by a work college. if anyone could suggest as well a good website for understanding cryptic clues as i would like to do more of these in the future.
Sorry marg I have tried to work these out but can't come up with anything. As regards your query about cryptics I don't think such a site exists.I have a crossword solver from argos and use the thesaurus to try and break down the words in the clue.If you come on here enough and see how others break the clues down it is good practise.
Treetops is right, I just wanted the clues to help if possible.
As treetops say, the clues are a little different to "normal" cryptic clues, sometimes with cryptic clues, you need to understand the mindset of the setter, perhaps if you have answered some already you could post the clue AND the answer. That may give us an insight.
Mass
I've sent mine in now and can't remember how I worked them out but I'll have a bash at giving you some clues
64 put part of alfred into PY .saddle horse used in the middle ages .
60 Think of Edith as a certain french singer .little sparrow was her nickname+FE further education.Dressage movement .
33 the answer runs in the last three words of the clue .
46 I think is an anagram of tapes and two other letters which are short for an organisation that sailors are in .
