I have a question which I am sure someone will answer instantly, well not instantly because I am posting this at 0800 in the morning and I don't expect anyone to read it for a while.  I already know the answer but I am going to have an each way bet on who I think will get it first.

What I want is a sentence where the word 'and' can be used 5 times consecutively and still make sense.

Found this one through the power of Google:

In writing the entire phrase, "'Fish' and 'Chips'", it's important to have the proper puncuation between "Fish" and "and" and "and" and "Chips".

Well done QmunkE, you just lost me my win stake, I had my money on someone else.

Which of these is the odd one out?

ANN BOLYN

ANNE OF CLEVES

CATHERINE PARR

CATHERING OF ARROGAN

CATHERINE HOWARD

JANE SEYMOUR

Please excuse some of the spelling.

Del made a typing error and instead of just typing 'and' had typed 'and and', and 'and and' is incorrect.

How about that as an alternative?

Another alternative is -

Question : Where are the spaces in "Coach and Horses"?

Answer: Between "Coach" and "and" and "and" and "Horses"

Catherine Parr for outliving Henry VIII?

Anne Bolelyn for having an extra finger?

Catherine of Aragon for being married before?

Anne of Cleeves for being foreign?

Jane Seymour for giving birth to a son (and future King)?

Catherine Howard for her ghost ?

I heard this one as a sign writer re-painting an inn sign and, when finished, the landlord said, " there is too much room between Pig and And and And and Whistle."

Del 424 - Now give me a sentence with the word "had" 11 consecutive times.

I like your thinking gen2.  I must admit that the version I heard was about the sign writer re-painting an Inn sign.

All your answers are good spudqueen but you have not picked the one I have.  Mind you, I think that it is unlikely that anyone will get mine as I made it up on the spare of the moment to present a question that couldn't be solved by googling.
Any clues as to the odd one out and the 'Had' question?
Clue for Toonmilo:  Smith & Jones submitted their English homework.  Smith had written 'had', while Jones had written 'had had'.  This should lead you to a valid result.  Good Luck!

When we were young and our hearts were an open book.

Just google all those hads and it comes up.

Smith, whereas Jones had had "had", had had "had had". "Had had" had had their fellow authors' approval.

This ia an old one that I had seen in a book of my father's dating from the 40's or 50's.  It is what I had in mind when I answered your first queation about 'and'.
