MM Links Results Jun 2012 Week 5

June has come to an end, and with it the reign of the 'Godfather', DC.

Today's results will determine the winner and the setter for July.

This weekend's links, as chosen by 'Don Corleone' aka deecee131, were:

FIVE STONES
GOOD NIGHT
GUIDE LINE(S)
NEW MOON

All very acceptable links but plucked from a plethora of alternatives, were they the same ones that you chose?

But first I must offer a warm welcome to two new players who joined us this weekend: foxlee2 and jeza. Foxlee2 even managed to score a point so well done. Now you know how it works, we hope to see more of you in the following weeks.

As stated above, there were a lot of possibilities to choose from so points were a little thin on the ground (but remember, the Don gave you two fantastically high-scoring rounds this month).

It was 9:06 before the 14th player, cliffyg, found both FIVE STONES and GOOD NIGHT for 4 points. I liked the idea of the 5 stones representing the balls of one of deecee's overs but somehow I doubt that was what he was thinking of when he set them.

Time passed and 50 minutes into the game Brenden decided June was the time for a NEW MOON (2 points)

It was a quarter past 11 before the final link of GUIDE LINE(S) fell to Handbaglady (2 points).

No further bonus points were scored this week so the handful of single points went to hawk3y3, foxlee2 and Eiggam.

Tough luck for the rest of you but cheer up because it is a new setter and a fresh leaderboard for July.
