For anyone wqho is doing this one have you found that at least two of the questions have to have the same answer? I am thinking of questions 4 and 29 in particular. Possibly also 1 and 27.
No you are not right. The answer to 4 is Harold II and the answer to 29 is Harold I. The answer to 1 is Henry II nickname curtmantle (short coat) and the answer to 27 is Edward I aka Longshanks. Has anyone got 30, 31, 33, 34 and 36 yet?
Hope this is the same quiz. Just realised the postings are in July and it is now August. The clues for the ones I have not yet done are as follows:
30. Did his flair for gardening give rise to his nickname?
31. He seems to have got more than food in his facial hair.
33. At one and the same time deeply learned but totally eccentric.
34. Savagely violent, Westminster Hall may be his only positive legacy.
36. Did this monarch waltz in and quickly out of the monarchy
and I forgot 11. I'm late, I'm late for a very important date was NOT his cry.
