AnswerBank Editor says: In Quizzes and Puzzles we occasionally have users decrying the posting of questions from a Quiz which has not been out very long or where the setter has asked those entering not to use site such as this. It is "dishonourable" to go against the wishes of the setter. However, we will not remove the question. This is a Q&A site after all.
It is quite simple - You have a right to ask anything to want here (as long as it isn't offensive and doesn't transgress Site Rules).
Regardless of the wishes of the setter this is the reality of the situation.

Oh good - does that mean I can ask something? I have a quiz from the Childrens Society and I have managed to answer 99 out of the 100 questions. The last one is - In South America name the wind that rages through the mountains north of Cape Horn. I have tried all sorts to find it out, but it has beaten me. The mountains are the Andes, but that is all I have been able to find out, except of course that there is a terrific wind that blows through the passes. I now know more about the Andes than I ever learned at school. Hope someone will help me, in spite of the argument about the morality of it.
This site should not have one rule for one and one for another though sir.prize
The setter of the macmillan famous women quiz said no asking and when someone did the question was removed That isnt fair at all and yes I am told it was because someone reported they had asked but it still goes against your statement

I'm sure it is D97. I have written it in anyway, so hope for the best. I don't anticipate winning anything - it is just the fun of doing it. I don't usually ask for help because I think that defeats the purpose of using your own brain and any facilities you have available, such as reference books, dictionaries and the internet (google, not AB)
