1. Jupiter
2. London and Wolverhampton, 1950 IIRC
3. George III
4. Noble gases
5 false
5. Stupidly phrased question. Iron is one of the four magnetic substances - the others are cobalt, nickel and steel.
gadollinium ?
Is it true or false then M/R - just answer the question.
That's paramagnetic...
b/b/m - put more water in it.
so its not a magnetic element then ?
et tu M/R
I would say iron is readily magnetised
so - true
It's down to definition and nomenclature, which is why this is a stupid question. Gadolinium is ferromagnetic up to a certain temperature and paramagnetic above it.
yes it is a ridiculously worded question but does that imply that it does not deserve an answer ?
Ga is also a semiconductor
GOOD GRIEF - the answer starrs is after is 'true or false' - take a deep breath now....
OK, the best answer I can give to the question "Is iron attracted by magnets?" is "It can be depending on the circumstances".

By the way, why do you insert a space before questions marks...?
when in doubt put a space , does it look odd?
Maybe the quiz was aimed at mere mortals for a bit of fun.
Of course it looks odd! You certainly couldn't have been taught to do that at school.
