Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

thanks Touchstone and glasman for previous help , I think flowers is spot on for no.9 ,I still have 3 more I need help with ,no. 26 allude to comfort ,we hear [8] ,no.29 One shape [7] , no.31 Spoils round reversed notes [8] I'm not sure about no.39 could you explain it please ?

Jim, I've just seen your earlier question - you don't have to start a new thread to say thanks or to ask for more information, next time just add your own answer to the earlier thread. It gets confusing to have two with the same title from the same person :-)

grateful thanks glasman,stocksman,spudnick and boxtops ,I usually answer on the same thread but I wasn't sure whether you would go back to the earlier one ,do you think the answer to no.39 is fencer ,the question is Chief engineer stuck in marshy ground [6] thanks every once again .
