The film "Cast Away" is two words, so probably "Abandoned" is better

I would never consider castaway to be two words - neither do my Chambers Dictionary or Roget's Thesaurus.

There are certainly films with the title Castaway and Abandoned. The Tom Hanks film is Cast Away so that can be disregarded. However there is an Oliver Reed film from 1986 called Castaway. Abandoned is a more recent video so may be the one the the compiler was thinking of.
