Am totally flummoxed by what a Lberal MP has to do with a viewpoint. Can anyone steer me in the right direction as I am rapidly losing patience!

Very funny Lie-In king. Think this weeks Sunday Times Where was I? must have been penned by a Lberal it is so inconclusive!
What was the clue please?

Sorry it is really difficult to explain without reading the whole Where was I spiel in the Sunday Times. I am basically loking for a viewpoint named after a hill somewhere I thnk in Sussex that seems to be connected with an obscure Liberal MP born in 1870! I sometimes wonder why I persevere wth these puzzles!!!

Thank you all so much - doubt I would have got to Hilaire Belloc at all without you! As for Duncton Hill I had never heard of it but as I live not too far away it is now on my list of "To Visit". From a frustrating puzzle it has turned out to be very interesting! Thanks again
