Can anyone explain the picture with reference to the title?

In this one, the white squares form the solution instead of the usual black. The top part has 2 crosses i.e. 2 wrongs; middle is equals sign with a line through it i.e. doesn't equal; bottom part is a tick i.e right. Therefore the whole answer is 'Two wrongs don't make a right'. Does that make sense?
There are two X (two wrongs) followed by a "broken" equals sign (not equal to or do not make) followed by a tick (right).

I hope I have explained it simply.
