I read that Hamilton has accused Button for having “unfollowed” him on Twitter. It was pointed out to him that Button had, in fact, never “followed” him on Twitter. Would some kind person please inform me what the heck all this means. As Just William would say, “There’s no sense in it”.
It rather reminds me of the fact that my new girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well, she's not my girlfriend quite yet.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Twitter is a stream of short messages posted by people; if you find someone's postings sufficiently interesting then you 'follow' them (by selecting the option to do that) so that so can view their posts separately from what is posted by everyone else. Once you get bored with them you 'unfollow' them so that whatever they post is mixed in with all the rest.
Ah! now I understand. Thank you bubbletub, I thought you'd know. I have heard of Twitter of course but I don't subscribe to these social sites. Thank you too chelle, I'll remember the "unfriending" comparison on the other thing. It's seems a bit like the Arabs do and say to one's wife, "I divorce thee" three times and job's a good'un! Old twinkletoes is a bit cranky today n'est-ce-pas?
