Hi, peolpe!
I'm stuck on 2 this week: 6 Down: One such was Strauss, being top man for a waltz moving millions (7,3) o - e - i - - , - a - . "Opening bat" would fit, and maybe in cricket that might be top (ie first?) man, but I don't get the rest. And 15 Across: Gendarme's introduction is flipping hilarious, primarily in "Good Moaning"! (7) s - g - i - g. Sighing? Signing? The 'g' is from "opening bat" above. Hope someone can help. =^.^=

Gosh, thanks very much, Lie-in King! This setter, Tim Moorey, seems to be going down the 'clue per letter' route, which is a bit laborious, don't you think? Anyway, thank you for helping me so promptly. You helped me last week too. You must think I'm not so good! Never mind. Maybe I'll get the lot next week! :-)
