Shrubbery post - MM and KM Links Oct 2012 Week [3]

I hope this posts OK as I am having problems with my laptop and mobile dongle. That combination has served me well on previous visits to my mother but maybe now it is time to upgrade. Whatever - that is not going to help for this weekend.

Here we have has mist and rain all day.
To add to my woes, my car developed a fault on the way down which has cost more than a couple of quid to sort.

Enough of my problems - YOUR problems tomorrow will be to guess the links in each of our weekend guessing games that take place here in Q & P.

First up will be the KM Game based on the GK crosswords in the Daily Telegraph posted by seekers from Australia. Play anytime before midnight on Sunday. Same points available whatever time you play.

The other version is the 'MM Links Game' set by one of the AnswerBank players. This month it is being set by 'Lady Jill' (aka tearinghair) who will post an introduction at 8:45 followed by the challenge words at 9am. In this version of the game, bonus points are triggered the first time someone correctly guesses each link and remain available for the following two minutes. Best to play early to maximise your chances of points. Two points within the bonus window - one point thereafter.
The game closes at 7pm Sunday when the results will be posted.
This is week 3 of four so it is still open for anyone to take the honours.

Fog promised for the Midlands tomorrow morning too, Gen2, and no wind to blow it away. A good excuse not to do any gardening.

Spent all day in a office block looking at grey - the clouds were that low.
Just home - hate the Blackberry, as an aside - to a quiet flat; family away, looking forward to a rest; just found two pages of A4 listing jobs I can do as I'm 'not doing anyting else'.
Ho hum.
