MM Links Results November 2012 Week 1

'The Lady Ursula' (aka owllady) got us started on this new month with a selection of challenges that had masses of options.
Did she pick your favourite choices? You are about to find out.

I can now reveal that 'The Lady Ursula' chose the following links:

All her first choices of links were discovered but some lasted longer than others.
In all, 22 points were awarded.

Middlestump came up with the perfect first hit of WORD PERFECT and Tearinghair was within time to claim 2 points as well.

Three minutes later, Grannydi had a BRAIN STORM (2 points) and although seven other players were later of a like mind, they only picked up singles.

The very next player, Kawakiri, remembered once seeing a large building belching steam out of odd shaped cooling-towers called a POWER STATION (2 points). Amazingly, not a single other player chose that link.

By now, the early rush was over but throughout the morning players continued to register their guesses without finding the final link.
In fact it was just after 3pm before Elspeth ran in with CROSS COUNTRY - but not only that, she matched 'brain storm' as well to become a double-hitter AND this week's highest scorer (3 points) so:
