Formerly DEGGLUBHIRN.

I think this is an anagram of the previous name of this city and I need the present name. There are only 11 letters in the anagram but the present name has 12. Absolutely stuck on this and only need this one.

I remember a few were stuck on this and some knew the answer but wouldn't give it. It looks so similar to Edinburgh that you'd think there was a link but that has only 9 letters, unless there's a second word involved
