Thanks Kettledrum. Given the nature of the other clues this Kenny connection may be too obscure & while Kilkenny is a city it doesn't compare with the answers to the other clues which are all well known. However, in the absence of any other suggestions I'll go with yours. Thanks again.

I'm probably way off, but could it be Hangchow? Chow being one of the pirate captains in Pirates of the Caribbean.
