Can anybody tell me the name of the Paris by-pass/huge roundabout.
I drove through there some years ago and cannot remember the name.

It can't have been the Place de l'Étoile. Nobody who enters that traffic system ever leaves it alive!
;-)

(But yes, it probably was. It's where the Boulevard Périphérique meets the top of the Champs-Élysées. There are 12 roads leading in and out of it, with the Arc de Triomphe in the middle)
