Is He A Cricketer ?

CurlyChris has kindly suggested that photo number 7 in the Sport section of the quiz at http://www.northernecho.co.uk/leisure/superbrain/ is a cricketer who played in the north east, but as he is doing the quiz doesn't want to give the answer away, understandably. So with that info it really only leaves Yorkshire and Durham as possible options so does anybody have any fresh ideas. Thanks

I think it could be Lance Cairns

Could be a good call that zds90. I remember him as being a little more 'rotund' than he looks in that pic, but that could be an early one, obviously.

Mr Prim thinks it could be Bobby Tambling (footballer late1950's early 60's) but he isn't 100% sure. Played for Chelsea.
Will the results of the quiz be published as he would like to know the answer himself now.
