We are working on a puzzle and suspect that what we were are looking for could be hidden in links down the right hand side of the cache page. We were just wondering if there is a technique for doing this what exactly it is.

Many thanks in advance.

Methyl: This puzzle has only just cropped up on our to do list. We have only just asked about this puzzle. We have tried elsewhere but got fed up with people saying what we were doing was bad form.
You must enjoy the geocaching challenge as you keep persevering with them.
Have you got an example of what you mean, please? Thanks

factor-faction: The best example we can give is the puzzle to which this query relates. The link is as follows:

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=3dffecd9-afae-4a4c-bd83-6435d08c3272

We have been advised that the information required to solve the puzzle can be found via one or possibly more if the links down the right hand side of the cache page. We have looked but can't see anything and apparently there is a technique for finding this information.

Many thanks for your help.
Do I take it that the coordinates given in the centre of the image are just a red herring? Or is it as simple as that? I don't understand the 'greenhorn trihedra'.

Maybe the person giving you a hint was referring to the link immediately above where it says '23 Logged Visits'. It appears on the left in my browser.
I think the magnifying glass is the best hint - unless that also is a red herring.

gen2: the whole content of the pic on the page is a red herring. We were told that the info we need is found by using one of the links down the right side of the page itself. It is possible we may be missing something but we have gone over it so many times we can't see anything that we have missed.
I hope someone hasn't sent you on a wild goose chase again
Question Author
We don't think we are on a wild goose chase at all but we do feel that the hint we have been given is very unhelpful.
The hint you have been given is VERY helpful. If you open the links down the right hand side, the answer is staring you in the face!

Red Sky: The clue we have been given for this puzzle really has been of no use whatsoever. We have come to the conclusion that it is like the whole puzzle and that it is another red herring. When we open the links down the right hand side we see nothing of use whatsoever. The clue, for us, is NOT VERY helpful at all.
Question Author
Have just looked at the page and I think all you do is click the "log your visit" link and claim a find even though the puzzle is unsolved and you have not found it. That is what stares us in the face and is obvious.

We have tried what RedSky suggested and like before it gave us nothing. We think it is like a red herring as the cache title suggests.
Question Author
We gave this one another try alongside the hint we have been given and yet again drew a worthless blank. On this basis we are judging the hint to look at the links down the right side of the page as being nonsensical. We have have a horrid feeling that all you do is click to record our visit and simply record a find without having got any co-ords or even having gone to search for it. This makes us concerned.
Nope that's not it all. Try further down!
sounds like Redsky's found it!
Yep! Easy peasy!
Are these good fun, Reddevil1976? They seem extremely frustrating judging by all your threads and I never understand what's being discussed but do you think I'm missing out on something I'd grow to enjoy as much as I enjoy crosswords?
I think if you click to view past trackables, then down to GC Finder, you will be taken to a trackable profile. There's a button there to view maps but you have to be logged in to see it.

Thanks for your help. We have to say that this is one weird puzzle if you can call it that.

A fresh query is on its way too!
