the above clue has to be divided into Three separate clues; there are some letters given for each answer

the clue division seems to be -

Orthodox Roman Catholics answer: Tridentines

- an exclamatory oath answer: '??ODI????

in (this is a homophone for INN) answer: Caravanserai

the apostrophe at the beginning of the answer is definitely confirmed by the Puzzles overall theme answer being a verse from a christmas song)

(PS not sure of the reason for the '-' in the clue, whcih may not be related to the second clue, but to the first clue!)

Any ideas, please ...

there is another clue, where the answer is proven as ok, but I do not fully understand ...

so far so good BUT how does 'Grosvenor and eighty' link to the answer 'Shearer' ...

And Norma is a name for a set square. Eighty one is 9 squared.
