I realised it was BONNIE TYLER who realised I was LOST IN FRANCE> Have you come far she asked . I replied YES I have and I've been (song) 7/6 for a signpost


Leading the way downstairs we passed 2 girls who were sat on the stairs cutting up sheets of paper. Apparently they were the (singer/group) 7/7 and I asked Ben if they looked after t he animals in the menagerie. No he replied (song) 4/3/6

There were uncaged felones running everywhere so I asked Ben who owned them. He said they totally feral and therefore they were all (singer/group) 5/4

I'm not convinced by Looking Around for the 7/6 one even though I suggested it initially. The Yes song with that title never reached the top 40 and I'd never heard of it whereas it seems all the others in this quiz are well known songs. I did think of Hanging Around (Hazel o'Connor) but 'hanging arouns for a signpost' doesn't really sound right. I also wanted say Hunting HianLo (by Aha) but that's cheating

Factor just looking in on this one. Cant see that the songs have to be Top 40 ?

Maybe emeritus, but I would be surprised if a quiz setter would use such an obscure song when there are other more well known ones that could have been used (e.g. Searching, Hunting High and Low)
