thank you for the tip smouse-I used my paperback Bradfords Dictionary to solve the other 97 clues-it was just these 3 I couldn't find. I wouldn't usually be so up to date with my quizzes, but it has been snowing here today, and with a bitterly cold easterly wind, its been too cold to do anything in the garden. Having started the quiz on Good Friday, I just wanted the satisfaction of completing it with a little help. Sorry if that upsets you, particularly as I know you have are having a difficult time at present, and I know how much you enjoy your quizzes. I hope they are making life a little easier for you.

I wasnt upset I was trying to be helpful as its a brilliant site for doing link words
you just put in ???????offensive or ???????point etc and then a often the penny drops

Difficult time doesnt sum it up some days and without the friends I have made online mainly through quizzing I am not sure I would get through those days thanks for the kind words I know we dont always see eye to eye
