Are you sure these letters are correct needle2? I've ploughed through page after page of titles for paintings and I can't find a solution. There are so many paintings with titles starting with "The" and the absence of the letter "h" in your string excludes all of those. Also there is no "d", "f", "l", "m", "o" or "p" and that makes it very difficult to form many common words.

I'm having trouble with that one too. I suppose there's a chance that one or more of the words might be a name, possibly a foreign name, if it's a portrait; but all the others in that section are in English.

Thanks from me too. I don't really like pinching answers to quizzes, particularly from someone else's post - sorry, needle2! - but have justified this one by looking up images of the painting and reading about it, so at least I've learnt something.
