We are stuck on my son's maths homework question which is:-
A box of chocolates contains 15 hard centres and 13 soft centres. One chocolate is chosen at random. Work out the probability that it will be:-
a. a hard centre
b. a soft centre
All answers gratefully received

probability = (total number of ways what you want can happen)/ (total number of things that can happen)

In this case, there are 28 bars in total, of which 15 (13) are hard (soft).
