Cash Prize Puzzles

I won a cash prize in edition 70 of this magazine which is published by Prize Magazines. We are now on edition 74. On the winners page it states 'Please allow 28 days for receipt of prize'.
I waited for more than the required time, and still hadn't received anything, so sent 3 emails over the last few weeks to the company, and have only received a brief acknowledgement saying they are passing them to another department.
What should I do? Has anyone else had problems? I did have to contact them when I won a cash prize some time ago, but did get a personal cheque very quickly.
It has spoilt my enjoyment of the quizzes - I have subscriptions to quite a few of the magazines they produce and previously really enjoyed having a go.

when i won £250 from a competition in the Daily Star , I waited 3 months to receive my prize ! .They kept saying it was passed to another department . got it in the end though , hope you don,t have to wait too much longer.

I sent a cheque for competitions galore and it took 2 emails and then a letter before I got a reply took them nearly 3 months to start sending the magazine but 2 days to cash the cheque

Hello. A bit after your original posting I'm afraid, but I wonder, did you ever receive your cash prize? I am having the same problem with them. Even before my name was published as a winner, they phoned to offer me the alternative of a subscription deal, but I opted for the cash. Like you, I have other subscriptions to their magazines - which are enough to keep me occupied. Like you, I enjoy their magazines, but problems in receiving prizes is not good enough. I wrote reminding them of the outstanding prize, but received no reply. It is difficult to know what further to do, but I can't help feeling that if I do nothing I will never receive the prize. A great pity, because otherwise their puzzle magazines are first class.
