I've just been sent a copy of this quiz which I've no intention of trying to solve. If somebody was trying it where would they start? For example, the first question is: 'Panicking, I report disloyal stinker.' (6,6,7,3)
Just to stress, I don't want this answered.

I have completed this quiz, and thoroughly enjoyed it once I got into the right 'frame' of thinking like the setter !!
Best quiz I have done this year, wthout a doubt. Very well set and very frustrating, but can be sorted with a little effort. Simply log on to "Just giving" and Richard Cleaver's page, donate a couple of pounds, and he will send you the quiz.

I agree a really good quiz all round, well done Richard and look at that total again !
Thanks for all the kind comments.

I'd love to hear ABers' suggestions for a theme for the next quiz.....
I've been working on this quiz for several days now - it is addictive. I'm down to the last 6 which are causing some headaches! I know very little about films but have used the internet and Halliwells to help me. The directors are in alphabetical order, when I find a likely candidiate I have a good look at the clue and work it out from there. An anagram solver helps too. Some of the clues are fiendish and the films a bit obscure but I'm having a great time and the grey matter is being given a thorough work-out. Do have a go sandy, once you get into it some will pop out to you.If anyone hasn't sent for the quiz yet, please do.
Fantastic quiz. I don't know how Richard works out the clues as they are quite fiendish. Keep up the good work Richard and don't take any notice of this comment. Not worth it!
