I originally suggested Shirley, but that was the real name of Big Daddy, not Giant Haystacks.
Haystacks was Alfred Wainwright's favourite place.
Wain another form of Wayne perhaps?
There's a Garryowen rugby club near Limerick. Thats probably where it got its name. I'd thought it was a real player, too
