Century Quiz
1910 GF were made with F-CR
(I am sure the hypen must be relevant)
I was given gold fillings were made with ferrous chromium but cant find any reference and if it is that what does the R stand for
I did find a reference to freight carrying railcar for 1910 but have no ideas for the GF
Any help as it is about to go in the post

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I was once a chemist - lol so I know that it is Cr but then if we are being fussy (and I am) it should be Fe (and we wont go into ferrous and ferric) but then it would be ferrous chromate which wouldnt be chromium and Cr isnt the symbol for chromate. You can see how this is driving me mad.

I'm also down to 1910 + 1912 and am asking everyone I see!
I found that the first commercial rayon was produced in 1910 so was going to put garment fabrics were made with first commercial rayon (but only to preserve my sanity and get it posted off). Now I think I'll change my mind!
Have you any pointers for 1912?
