Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Having managed the bottom half of this puzzle I thought I'd worked out how to treat the 21 words. However, I'm now totally thrown by the top left corner! If I treat 4d in the same way it seems to clash with my treated 15A. My 6D doesn't work any more either so please could someone tell me if I have the correct answer to 15A. My untreated word starts with P and ends in MI.

Thank you Quizmonkey. In that case does the untreated answer to 6D start with C and end with M? I must be going wring somewhere!

4D and 6D are not among the 21 words to be treated.

Sorry, Quizmonkey. I meant 2D, not 4D. I have the spare letter from 4D as part of my author's name! My brain has blown a fuse! Your help with 6D is greatly appreciated as I was trying to get the 3rd letter of that person's name from 5D. I will now persevere with that corner!

Untreated 2D starts with S and ends with K.

4D is not a treated word. It starts with I and ends with I.
