Just wondered what other ABers do when a quiz is completed. I have three now that have return dates in September. I don't know whether to pin them on my noticeboard or return them early. What do you do and do quiz setters mind having sheets returned two or three months early? Thanks
I tend to send them in about 2 weeks before closing date, though some are more last minute if I struggle to finish them. I do about 20+ per month so have to try to be organised.

I send mine in as soon as I have finished them, although to be honest I have discovered more than once that I could have put better and different answers, too late after I have sent them, and have never won anything yet. Fortunately I just like doing quizzes so it doesn't really matter. I always picture whoever looks after them as being much more efficient and better organized than I am, and who probably have a big box in which they put all quizzes in, even if they are rather early.
Thanks, I would think if the setters have a lot of replies it might help if the returns are staggered. I've sent a couple off and then discovered a better answer too, very annoying. I have just won a quiz so I'm very pleased, I know I often don't get all the answers right.
As a quiz setter, I don't mind getting them back early. They all go in a box, as starone guessed, and don't get opened or marked until a week or so before the closing date - when we have a big marking session.
As a quiz solver, I tend to send completed ones off soon after I've finished them, to clear my file out. Whether other compilers mind having them back early, I don't know.
As a quiz setter I`m happy to get answers staggered. I mark as I receive them and write the score on the envelope, filing in numerical order. That way I don't have a big workload all at once. After closing date I review the top scores "just in case" and then publish the results to entrants. Works for me
I don't mind getting quizzes sent in early as I too find it staggers the amount coming in all at once as I mark them as they come in and they are all kept safely for the closing date. As regards sending quizzes in to other setters we tend just to send them when we have completed them although like the others we have sometimes found better answers afterwards. However its all part of the fun
I send mine off as soon as finished, but have just missed 2 'closing dates'' and could kick myself, I have googled for so long on one question , and meant to send it in blank, but hey-ho, the best laid plans etc. etc.,now waiting to see the answer for said question.
Thanks very much for all your answers. I think I'll get them in the post and then I don't have the risk of forgetting them completely, which is probably what will happen if I hang on to them.
