got Dee for number 5 but also got dee for another clue which is Leading the band which told the legend of xanadu, could number 5 be Doe as in doe ray me??

It will be Ray.

Xanadu's definitely Dee - perhaps the setter has made a mistake and put the same answer for two clues? D's a higher note than C.

My daughter has told me it will be ray and here is a river Ray, so will go with that. just number 4 left and stuck with that.
