Initial Proverbs Quiz

Is anyone else doing this quiz and struggling with this question . LOSF. because I am. I have asked AB's if they can help but no-one can give me an answer as yet. I would be very grateful if someone could hep me. I also wondered if the Setter of this quiz had a letter wrong in the clue, or has missed a letter out !

guilliebrougues, I am not doing the quiz nor do I have an answer either for you on this one,I have been searching just like the rest of the helpers on here, on saying this I would be inclined to go with AB glasman's suggestion from the very first time you asked rather than leave it blank, or contact the setter of the quiz and make an enquiry.

Hi Katburd. Yes, thanks I have put glasman's suggestion in - leave of absence soon forgotten , in the hopes that the setter has made a mistake.
Just wondered if there was any more ideas. I appreciate that people are trying to help and am very grateful.

Thank you Katburd, I will certainly let ab's know the outcome, and thank you for your good wishes. This quiz has to be in by 30th September so soon after that I will be put out of my misery. On a positive note I might even win !
