Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

'at least four'....'when I spot them' - well I am sure the Editor is very happy for you championing the rules of AB - all quizzers are doing is championing the rules and requests of the Quiz setters.

I am the setter of this quiz and I have got just a little disappointed with people asking before curfew dates, asking for answers rather than clues and generally spoilling the quiz so this time I included the following on the front page.

"Please do not ask for answers or clues on internet forums, but you can still ask for help from family and friends offline. Over a third of the last quiz had been posted before the curfew date so this time we politely request you do not ask anything as it is spoiling the quiz for many people."

There are too many quizzes that have become a test of your ability to scroll through this site to find all the answers. If that is what ny quizzes are to become then why should I waste my time trying to set interesting and testing questions.

Bibblebub - It has nothing to do with the quiz being suitable for the 21st century and the internet. It is like doing a pub quiz when the smart arse in the corner, who is not taking part, shouts out the answers.

There is something very simply you could do so that it wouldn't matter if people get answers from a Q&A site but you're the quiz setter, you figure it out.
