What a month!
My abacus lit up red for the second time in a month! Was it you? Find out later.

'Joan the Wad', Queen of the Pixies (aka pixie373) bows out with her final set of pairings which were:

JACK KNIFE
HORSE BACK
BLACK SHEEP
MONKEY PUZZLE

Two of those proved to be very popular and between them racked up most of the 45 points awarded.

I offer sincere thanks to Pixie373 for her efforts to keep you all challenged throughout this month. It has had its ups and downs but nevertheless it has been great fun.

I also welcome a new player this week - Mallyh (Please note though Mallyh that we state at the start that all links are from 4 to eight letters in length.)

First player BigMac led the flock of BLACK SHEEP with roslyn251254, tearinghair, seekeerz, Strix & beejay1124 all in time for a bonus (2 points each)

Seekeerz also picked up 2 points as the first with MONKEY PUZZLE. Rockfordill, middlestump, cliffyg & beejay1124 all followed suit within the bonus window.

The final two links of JACK KNIFE and HORSE BACK were both choices of Psybbo (and nobody else).

And would you believe it! Psybbo did a Pauline and also matched BLACK SHEEP and MONKEY PUZZLE for a full house and two further bonus points.

I therefore have no hesitation in declaring that
