What Shop Am I

Friends of Vicarage Park School Kendal. This quiz is a shop logo quiz. The one I am stuck on has a £ sign and by the side of it what looks like the beginning of an A and under the A is an S. My first thought was Asda but I cannot find their logo with a £ sign in front of it. Any Ideas please?

Thanks boxtops but on the quiz No 12 shows the sign eight and the way it is written suggests that this answer is phase 8 and I have also checked phase 8 logos and would say that no12 is phase 8 not 17
