I realise now this is a quizmail question.They don't like to be given an answer,just a clue to the answer.Those that get 150 answers correct without doing much research are the smug brigade I presume.
I shall avoid answering anything that says quizmail in future for fear of getting snarled at!!

It's not us being smug - it's us getting sick of being slagged off by a few for so called cheating.
I would guess that most of us have to research quite a lot for the answers - and even enjoy doing so.
If you look back over the last 2 or 3 months there has been so many nasty comments about quizmailers on here that we now feel that we have to say 'no straight answers please'

I'm sure none of us intend to sound smug or to upset any of you who very kindly help by pointing us in the right direction.

This Q wasn't too difficult to find on the net once i actually googled the right question.

Sorry about that.I didn't realise it was a quizmail answer until I read the question again .I must read the question properly!! I used to do Quizmail myself until I moved and our team disbanded and know it involves a lot of research.I used to do it years ago when there was no internet!! Hope I haven't caused a kerfuffle!

Bernardo - Quizmail is a postal quiz which is sent out on a monthly basis.  There are 150 questions which vary in difficulty from easy through to some which require research to find the answer.  As you can probably those who enter can be quite competitive and you may think this is because of the huge financial reward in terms of prizes - however the average prize for coming top of your league usually covers the next months entry fee!
