'The Cat's Mother' (aka boxtops) has one last chance to challenge you all in the MM Links game. Are you up for it? Or more to the point, WILL you be up for it? Don't forget to set the alarm then.
It starts tomorrow morning as usual in Q&P with an introduction at 8:45. The challenge words will then be revealed at 9am. Anyone can play but early players stand to pick up more points.
The KM version of the game also starts tomorrow morning in Q&P - but earlier. That version will be launched by Seekeerz but there is no rush to play that version (based on 'The Daily Telegraph' GK crosswords Sat/Mon.) as there are no time-sensitive bonus points.
These light-hearted games are just for your amusement and don't require any difficult problem-solving. Just go with your instinct and there will be no drain on your brain-power.
If anyone cares to stick around, The Shrubbery is now open for socialising so pull a few corks, find some music and dance the night away just as you did way way back in your salad days. Ah, youthful innocence and carefree existence - where did it all go?
Oh ... that was supposed to be a link.
Never mind, you probably remember the tune anyway.
Good evening gen2 and boxtops - any clues with the links words ?
Evening folks ...there's a slight glitch on the horizon for this weekend..I'm computer less so I will be relying on an early bird to provide clues and link words before we can get under way, after that it will be ok.
I'll post something a bit later so fingers crossed !
Our paper is always delivered later at the weekend (and has been all this week as it's half-term) so I won't be able to help, skz. Will be waiting eagerly in the hope that a kind soul will a) have the clues, b) be able to solve them and c) post them for an adoring public!
Am in the heaviest workload week of my year - which includes having to read the papers... ...
I could have the link clues up early (ish) in the morning - and possibly answers too - but can't promise: last week no newsagent near me had the w/end section of the Telegraph... ...
But - I will try.
BigMac it would be fab if you could, but if not well.....c'est la vie ! Someone will have an early paper I hope and we will maybe a bit late but we'll battle thru
And this week I can get the Weekend section of the Telegraph, but not the 'main' bit of the paper, nor the FT, nor the Guardian, Independent or the comics. Have got The Times, though.
I wouldn't mind but I'm slab bang in the middle of the world's greatest City and can't get a newspaper before 7:00 at the weekend...
