I e-mailed her too, yesterday morning but I'm not sure she'll get her e-mail as the hacker was asking me to e-mail back to the address for instructions for sending money

roopower - if you compare the e-mail address in the hackers e-mail and the one Jeanette uses for her quizzes, you will see that they are different.

Hello all yes I am sorry I only found out this morning when a family member phoned me in distress about this but pleased to know that you are all on the ball. Because of this upheaval I can no longer e-mail any quizzes by return or request as I do not want to put anyone else in this position. But. Will change my password on here for security and advertise quizzes in the usual way but available by post only. Thanks good friends. :)

anyone who has sent any e-mails from10.00 yesterday morning which is when a friend phoned me, I have not got. all contacts have been taken by the hacker so please be careful :) I just hope that they cannot hack into answerbank.

guilliebrougues, it'll be your email address they've got hold of - it's really common these days - please assure us that you have now changed your password on your email account, and all should be well!

will do boxtops but BT are supposed to be handling it. We were on the phone for two hours yesterday and they kept moving us onto various people and gave us various passwords which did not work. Eventually after two hours they said that they could not help but would pass us on to someone else who might help and guess what they just put the phone down on us. :( anyway we have written to the M.D. of telecom to see if he can help and ask if this is normal for them to put the phone down on us. so we await withinterest.

Well - I've never had that problem with btinternet, tbh.... but then when I've been hacked (and allegedly sent weird emails to people I no longer know!), all I've done is change my password myself. Good luck with it, I hope it's sorted soon.
