A sheriff, an outlaw, a bible salesman plus 2 assistants,and a whisky salesman plus 2 assistants need to cross a river using a convenient boat. A maximum of 2 people can use the boat at any time. Only the sheriff, bible salesman, and whisky salesman can operate the boat. The outlaw cannot stay with anyone unless the sheriff is present. Bible salesman cannot stay with whisky assistants unless whisky salesman is present. Whisky salesman cannot stay with bible assistants unless bible salesman is present.
