The game has now closed but I have been out all day and just returned.
I still have the calculations to do and a report to write so it will be about an hour or more before they are ready.

I am now in a position to report on this game.

There were almost 40 points earned this weekend so more than enough to possibly upset the apple-cart.

I can now reveal that 'Good King John II' (aka rockfordill) chose the following links for you to find.

FLOOD PLAIN
BEACH BALL

Although there was an overwhelming vote in favour of 'Paddle Steamer' (21 of you), sadly that was not on rockfordill's horizon.

Well, 'shoot from the hip' roslyn251254 immediately struck lucky with BEACH BALL in under a minute. Owllady and beejay1124 were in time for a bonus as well so 2 points each.

Christiana was also right on the ball with FLOOD PLAIN along with scorpiojo & evsajo for their 2 points.

The clock had tipped over to 9:02 when grannydi found herself in need of a LOCKSMITH, a predicament shared with middlestump, scorpiojo & evsajo for their 2 points.

The final link of PADDLE WHEEL managed to hold out for just 44 minutes until Brenden came along for her two points.

Thereafter, correct matched gained only single points but there were a few multiple hitters amongst them including a couple of triple-hitters: pixie373 and scorpiojo. The latter was also this weekend's higheast scorer (5 points) so:

I am mow left with a dilemma of who to choose for the next setter.

Grannydi set them fairly recently (Nov 2013)
Tearinghair set them a little further back in Oct 2012

But Brenden has never set them.
Yes, she was previously offered the chance but had to decline. I now know that circumstances have changed and I am hopeful that she is now in a position to accept the honour.

Unfortunately, Brenden still feels unable to accept the position of setter so the setter for April will now be Tearinghair (sorry Grannydi, but tearinghair hasn't set the links within the last year).

Yes, I know she is in California, bit we have email contact and although she'll be asleep for next week's launch, I'll post it on her behalf.
