Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am participating in a quiz where the question or the answer (or both)includes an occupation of some sort.

Example: Who composed Kiss Me Kate? Cole PORTER
Joe Gargery, cousin of Lapwing (10,6) BLACKSMITH's Lapwing.
TTSS by JLC (book and author) TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY by John Le Carre

I still need two answers though, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

1) aka Bullhead (7,5) [The answer to this one although it contains an occupation, relates to either a Plant, or a Creature (not all British]
2) SITS by DATM [The initial relate to a record and its performer(s). Either or both includes an occupation]

Shaney Star and Scorpiojo, thanks very much for putting me out of my misery. Scorpiojo you would have thought that I should have worked that one out - it was played as we left the cremaorium at my brother's funeral!

Ticknall, it's always worh doing a search in the red box, particularly if a question has been asked before, fred says this answer's been given several times already :-)
